2815 Wiegand to RS485 Converter​

The Art.2815 is a wiegand to RS485 converter, it allows the connection of 3rd party wiegand
proximity readers and keypads to an RS485 bus.

The converter is compatible with VIDEX’s 4G GSM intercom modules (excl. Art.150/4G) and
VIDEX’s IP system devices (as shown in figure)

It can also be used to integrate an ANPR camera (via the wiegand connection) to the 4G GSM system which can be managed by the GSM PC software, the GSM cloud with the “over the air” feature, or the GSM SMS Wizard mobile app

The converter has a single switched 0V auxiliary output AO that can be used to trigger a relay and can be activated either via the RS485 bus or via the switched 0V PE input.

It is also networkable with VIDEX’s RS485 remote relay the Art.2813 and when set with the same device ID will operate the remote relay.

Programming is via the internal dip-switches to select the wiegand protocol and device type (proximity reader or keypad), device ID setup (ID.0 - ID.15), auxiliary output AO time (1 - 15
secs or 0 for latch mode) and keypad access code length (any length or fixed 4-8 digits).
