98N, Videx, Drop Bolt Release Fail Open (DB1-DA60A1)
This release is normally fitted at the head of timber framed doors. When the door sensor detects the door is closed a drop bolt engages to the receiving plate fitted to the door. Can be used on swing doors provided that the self centering mechanism of the door is accurate. If the magnetic sensor does not line up accurately the bolt will not engage. There must be no side pressure on the door when the lock is operated.
