This magnet is for wooden doors that have rebate and cannot be fitted on the head of the door frame. The magnet is fitted to the upright of the door frame and the armature plate to the rebated section of the door. Can be used on inward an outward opening doors. operating voltage is 12/24v d.c. and a reed switch and led is fitted for door monitoring purposes.
