TruVision NVR 11cS (TVN 11cS) is a cost effective network video recorder for four IP video cameras. The recorder has four built-in PoE ports for ease of installation. With a total of 40 Mbps of incoming bandwidth available, it can support up to four cameras at Full HD resolution (1080P) in real time (25 fps).

H.265

TVN 11cS supports both H.264 and H.265 compression techniques. H.265 compression is the next evolution in video encoding. Compared to H.264, using H.265 will reduce the file size for the same video content and reduce transmission bandwidth. This means that less storage capacity is needed by H.265 than H.264 encoding for the same video duration. H.265 encoding in the TVN 11cS requires that H.265 TruVision IP cameras are used.

Ease of use & flexibility

TVN 11cS is designed to be flexible – not only in its deployment and product selection, but also in its day-to-day operations.

Setting up TVN 11cS is easy. Its embedded PoE ports allow you to connect IP cameras as they were analog cameras. When plugged in, cameras are automatically assigned IP addresses, are added to the recorder and set up to default configuration. Each IP camera can also be set up individually to ensure full flexibility.

The power for each plug & play port can be configured via the recorder’s user interface.

The unit can be fully controlled locally using the front panel buttons and mouse, displaying high resolution Full HD video on its local VGA monitor or even at 4K resolution on the HDMI video output. Alternatively, TVN 11cS can be operated remotely using its full featured web browser interface or using the TruVision Navigator and TVRMobile software applications

Basic intrusion integration

TVN 11cS can receive SIA or XSIA alarm messages from up to three Interlogix IP intrusion panels. Alarm messages, disarming and arming messages can be sent from the alarm panel to the recorder, which then can execute actions (ex. trigger alarm recording, send an email, send a PTZ to a preset, ...). Also the heartbeat message between panel and recorder is monitored. This solution offers straightforward alarm verification and is free of charge.
