OPTEX (Redwall-V) SIP-5030, External PIR 50 x 30m W/Built in Creep Zone
The SIP-5030 offers wide angle-detection for large areas outside. It has an intelligent detection system that uses data from the ambient environment, such as temperature and illuminance conditions, to automatically adjust the sensitivity.
In addition, the SIP-5030 has another PIR detector on the bottom of the unit to cover the creep zone. The PIR detector on the bottom has an independent output that is separate from the main output. The main output can trigger the CCTV system, and the output from creep zone detection can be used for protection of the unit. The detection angle in the SIP-5030 can be adjusted to easily match the camera field of view. And, the creep zone detector can be used for detection below and around the unit.
The SIP-5030 is also equipped with anti rotation and a anti-masking function, which can detect vandalism or tampering with the unit.
Designed to Trigger CCTV Systems:
The REDWALL SIP series is designed to be connected to PTZ or fixed cameras and trigger the CCTV system when an intrusion occurs. The SIP-100 has two independent detection zones, far and near zones, with independent sensitivity selection, that can trigger camera pre-set and provide the best view of the scene to local security staff or remote monitoring stations.
Weather and Vandal-resistant:
REDWALL SIP PIRs are designed to be used in harsh outdoor environment, their sensitivity are adjusted automatically to the ambient temperature and illuminance, they feature an IP65 rating for the main unit. The SIP series is vandal-resistantant all SIP products are built with polycarbonate housing, featuring an accelerometer to detect whether or not the sensor position has been tampered with.
