OPTEX developed a unique pyro-element, which creates original area configuration with 94 high density detection zones. By utilizing the AND detection pattern technology - upper and lower detection areas have to be activated in order to generate an alarm condition. The HX-40 prevents false alarms caused by pet or small animal.

The dual signal processing circuit automatically adjusts and sharpens its detection sensitivity to assess surrounding environmental conditions so the HX-40 offers high detection performance against missed alarms in a hostile environment.
