SENSE 2 is a rugged fingerprint biometric device recommended for outdoor installations where the requirements are limited to basic access control.

Taking cue from its predecessor, SENSE 2 is a beast designed specially to withstand the harsh outdoor environments.

An improvement over Invixium’s original star for industrial environments, SENSE 2 does everything that SENSE was capable of and more. The new and improved multispectral imaging Mercury sensor from HID Lumidigm with enhanced Liveness Finger Detection Technology available in SENSE 2 is recommended for all outdoor environments, especially where users will come across harsh and dirty environmental conditions and for installations where the user population has problematic fingers due to age, genetics or other environmental conditions. SENSE 2 is also equipped with the ability to power the door strike directly, removing the hassle of separate wiring for door strikes during installations.

With a larger biometric record capacity and more processing power, SENSE 2 is power packed to fulfill a broad range of market requirements.
